The New Standard Junction box and curly cord.
Available separately. This is designed to be small and useful. With a strong curly cord terminated in a molded two pin plug to suit the ICOM series of radios. This has 3 controls specifically designed for sports aviation. Volume, PTT and Tx Lock on. With this and the helmet loom, you have neat remote access to the common functions needed. There is also 2 sockets, one for the helmet loom, or other headset such as the behind the head, headset, and the New finger switch, below. New Standard Junction Box

The New Standard finger switch.
Available separately. This is a neat finger switch, on a narrow curly cord. With a 2.5mm plug. The narrow curly cord sits under the speed sleeves or tee shirt comfortably. And the flexibility of the cord does not limit movement. Quick simple connect and disconnect, makes it easy to use. It comes complete with a velcro finger strap, and the switch has velcro hooks on the back, so it can be easily moved. Or sew velcro loop onto your glove. New Standard Finger Switch

Much of the functionality of this headset is redundant. The IC41S has no remote control function! However if you have the IC40S, then this is the most versatile system for you. This is designed for the ICOM Range of CB radios. But most specifically the IC40S, which had the remote channel change etc.
It will work for all the ICOM CBs, but the remote channel change and other function of the special finger switch will only work on the IC40S. See below.

Special Fingerswitch, remote control
This specifically design to utilize the ICOM 40S remote channel change features. And will work as PTT with the IC40G, IC40GX, IC40S. Provides remote control of channel change, power Hi/Lo, and Squelch, On/Off. There is a safety switch, to disable these functions in normal operation as a PTT. The Joystick can be pushed in any direction for the PTT.

Behind the head headset - suitable for open-faced helmets
Available as a replacement for the helmet loom. Sits neatly behind the neck and clips over the ear, below the level of the smaller helmets. Or may be disassembled to use the boom mic and parts on other helmets.

Finger switch adapter. As we now have many units in the field, most of these the original design, it is likely that pilots will want to use the new finger switch with the original unit. This plugs into the RJ11 finger switch socket on the junction box. And provides a 2.5mm socket for the new finger switch. Finger switch adapter $15 Yes
