Welcome to the Home of the SENSAIR Hang Gliding Accessories.
Here are some items that may be of interest to Hang Gliding and Paragliding pilots.

More items will be made available from time to time.
I'm also happy make up leads and battery packs for most applications.
Email me for more details, question or suggestions.

Switch box and finger switch, to suit the ICOM IC40S, the ICOM Joey, and most other ICOM radios.

This little radio is highly recommended. It is not too big and has a full 5 watts power output. It is also capable of being remotely controlled, and so channel change, power selection and squelch can be controlled externally.
Great for those harnesses that really pack things away nice and streamline.
This is comprised of, Headphone and lims assembly to be mounted in the helmet
Junction box, which connects the helmet to the radio and finger switch
Finger switch, which gives Push To Talk (PTT), and on the IC40S, remote functions.

The Junction Box has a hardwired connection to the radio, and has controls for PTT, mic/Tx lockon, volume control. So it's all you need, and will work with most ICOM radios. It also has a connector for a finger switch.
There are 2 versions of the Junction Box.
JBOX1

And
JBOX2

The Difference is only in where the cables enter.

The finger switch has 2 switches. A PTT push button, which is also a joystick with Channel up/down power squelch "Joystick"! This Joystick looks like a simple push button but has four extra positions. This is normally disabled via the lockout/safety switch.

The finger switch comes in left and right hand types. This is mostly because of the direction of "UP" on the channel change function.
You may also notice a row of small holes all around the edge of each of the boards. This is for sewing onto velcro. This makes it very strongly attached to the velco, however, I'll leave that to you.

Let me know what bits you want and drop me an email. We can then organize delivery and payment.

Digitalk half Watt 40 Channel CB radio.

This is a great backup radio.
Not for the recording breaking XC flight, but for when the big one packs up, this will get you into the air and retrieved. We have found the air to ground range to be around 10 Kms. And a reliable 1km ground to ground.

Rechargable batteries.

I can provide AAA and AA rechargable batteries at a good price. These are high capacity and are recommended for the radios above. I can also make and repair battery packs for most applications.

A good neat battery charger.

These little chargers will charge 10, AA or AAA, Ni-Cd or Ni-MHD batteries on an individual basis. So you can mix sizes and type of batteries. And each cell gets just the charge it needs. Faulty cells are indicated within a few seconds.

From the Jaycar web site..... Image of the Jaycar battery charger. "This computer controlled charger will accept a combination up to 10 x 'AA' or 'AAA' cells and utilizes a discharger to fully flatten the battery before charging and help minimize memory effects. The charger will accept Ni- Cad or Ni- MH batteries and uses negative delta V sensing to achieve the maximum charge. A maximum charging timer control protects against over charging and individual LEDs show battery status. - The charger measures 220 (W) x 40 (H) x 115 (D)mm. - 12 VDC 800mA mains power adaptor supplied."

I can supply these above items(Radios.Batteries.Battery chargers.) at a discount.
However they are standard Jaycar Electronics stock items, so you can always call in there and buy them.
